



Asia-Pacific Productivity Conference (APPC 2012)
The Asia-pacific Productivity Conference 2012 will be held on July 25-27, 2012 at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), in Bangkok, Thailand. This is the 8th international conference on efficiency and productivity growth in the Asia-Pacific region. The conference is organized and sponsored jointly by Administration and Management College (AMC), King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang; Faculty of Economics, Kasetsart University (KU); Department of Agricultural Economics, Khon Kaen University (KKU); School of Economics & Public Policy, Srinakharinwirot University (SWU); Office of Agricultural Economics (OAE), Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (MAOC) and other well-known universities and government agencies in Thailand. The conference also offers a post conference tour (Royal Grand Palace, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha and Ko Kret - local village and pottery community) for foreign participants on July 28.
Two keynote addresses:
Professor Nancy H. Chau (Cornell University, USA) will give a keynote address on “Shadow Pricing Market Access.” Professor Shawna Grosskopf (Oregon State University, USA) and Professor Daniel Primont (Recently retired from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale) will be commentators.
Dr. Quentin Grafton (Bureau of Resources and Energy Economics, Australia) will give a keynote address on “Measurement of Productivity in the Mining and Energy Sectors.” Professor Rolf Färe (Oregon State University, USA) and Professor Robin Sickles (Rice University, USA) will be commentators.
